Wesley Campus Ministry

About

Since 1941, the Wesley Ministry has been a vital part of the Sam Houston State University campus community. Built in 1958, “The Wesley” has become a home away from home to many students who venture to keep Christ first in their daily lives throughout their time in college. Students gather each week for worship and fellowship events throughout each semester, and take pride in reaching out to impact people in their own community and beyond. For seven years (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020), the Wesley has earned the “Outstanding Religious Organization” Award of SHSU. In 2019, the Wesley was also named SHSU’s Outstanding Overall Student Organization.
