Established in 1975, Northwood Montessori is an AMI accredited non-profit Montessori school located in North Houston. Northwood seeks to provide children between the ages of 18 months and 6 1/2 with a safe, stable environment which enables them to develop self-confidence, independence, inner discipline, and a love for learning. Here, each child progresses through an individualized program consisting of language development, reading, math skills, botany, geography, art, music, and movement. Our proven learning methods and exceptional materials are designed to involve the whole child in the learning process. Wooded and spacious grounds surround the Northwood campus, allowing nature to be incorporated throughout the curriculum.
